Quartz Mountain Oklahoma

What a find! We are in OK now stopping for the night at Quartz Mountain Resort and State Park near Lone Wolf, in southwest OK. We were heading for one of the 3 campgrounds in the large state park and decided to check out the lodge and conference center Quartz Mountain Resort for lunch. It is beautiful. We ended up reserving a lakeside room to splurge and also get out of the heat. The architect researched the history of the area which is where several Indian tribes wintered. It was completed in 2001 after the original lodge burned to the ground.
