Charley Montana Bed & Breakfast

We are off the road for a few days enjoying our third visit at Charley Montana B & B here in Glendive, MT. Katherine and Jim Lee are the innkeepers for the former Krug Mansion built in 1909. The house remained in the same family all the years before the Lee's bought it in 1997. We first stayed here in 1998 when Katherine was just staying summers while Jim remained working in St. Paul, MN. We stayed again in 2003 when we traveled home from BC with our new Westy. Although it was a bit out of the way since we were traveling from SD to Medora, ND, we made the effort to get here from our Borderlands stay. We were greeted like long lost friends and we settled into the room we had two years ago. The Lees added wireless access since our last stay so we got the laptops fired up and handled our email and I did some blogging.
We decided one night wasn't enough so we did laundry, got the van washed, checked out the antique shop in town and enjoyed the claw foot bathtub. Breakfast was a gourmet masterpiece served on depression glass dish-ware. This B & B is one of our favorites.

Tomorrow we are off to Medora for an overnight at the Medora Campground and the Musicale.
