In years past, you could always count on Dultuh being a few degrees cooler than the Twin Cities. This year, Duluth was having the same heat wave as the rest of the state. Fortunately, we were staying at our niece's lake cabin on Island Lake 30 minutes north of Duluth so we did get a breeze. We saw deer on the road as we drove to the cabin at dusk.
